About Saga
Saga is an endurance training platform for iOS. Coaches author structured plans — marathon, triathlon, Ironman, and more — and publish them to a marketplace. Athletes follow a plan on a calendar and track how their real training compares to what the plan prescribed.
Completed workouts are imported from Apple Health and matched automatically to the sessions they correspond to, producing an adherence view: completed, missed, or still upcoming.
Frequently Asked Questions
- How do I start following a plan? Browse the marketplace, open a plan to see its week-by-week schedule, and follow it. Your start date snaps to the following Monday so the plan's weeks line up with calendar weeks.
- How do my workouts get in? Saga reads completed workouts from Apple Health. Grant access in Settings, and any workout written to Health — by your Apple Watch or by another watch's companion app — is picked up automatically.
- Can I use a Garmin or COROS watch? Yes, if that watch's app syncs completed activities to Apple Health. Enable that in your watch's companion app, and those activities flow into Saga like any other. Direct account integrations are in development.
- How does Saga decide a session is complete? Workouts are matched to scheduled sessions by discipline and date, within a small tolerance for training a day early or late. Each activity is only used once. You can also mark a session complete by hand.
- Why can't I review a plan? Reviews are gated on real progress: you need at least five completed sessions of that plan. This is enforced on the server, so ratings reflect people who actually trained the plan.
- Is my training visible to anyone else? No. Plans you publish and reviews you write are public; your workouts, progress, and enrollments are private to you.
- How do I publish a plan? Build it week by week in the authoring tool, then publish. It's attributed to your @username automatically.
- How do I delete my account? Email the address below and I'll remove your account and its data.
